Professional Development Workshop with Satya Chávez - March 2, 2024

Join SCT’s Artist in Residence, Satya Chávez, as they take you through a powerful new way of storytelling, by looping sounds and rhythms to help students create their very own music. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…!
Over the course of this professional development session, classroom educators will interact with looping software, learn how to loop, create their own story, and use that to compose their own 1 minute song. Educators will leave with a short lesson plan to support their classrooms with a 10 minute looping exercise.

Educators, please note that you will need to bring a mobile device, like a phone or tablet to this class. We will ask that a looping software (Loopy HD app) be pre-loaded to this device ahead of class. This app costs $4.99 in the Apple App Store.
